Selected engineering work · 2 case studies + current role

Built for the moment the internet shows up.

Two case studies in engineering leadership, followed by my current role at FareHarbor. Each case study shows what was at stake, what I owned, and what changed.

Creator Machine

My role · Co-founder & CTO · Crypto infrastructure

Challenge · viral demand

The launch was also the load test.

When a project caught fire on Twitter, the system had to be ready before the crowd arrived.

Creator Machine powered high-demand NFT launches where traffic did not climb politely—it arrived in sudden, public waves. I led the system architecture, turned complex launch requirements into shippable work, and coordinated a 10-person product and engineering organization around one standard: our platform could not become the bottleneck.

Forcefield

My role · Contractor → Director of Mobile Engineering · Parental controls

Challenge · establish mobile direction

Trust is earned in the doing.

I arrived as a contractor. I left having set the mobile direction and led the team.

Forcefield needed an Android strategy for a parental-control product with uncommon platform demands: device administration, dependable location tracking, and a user experience families could trust. I built that strategy and the first Android app, helped guide the move from iOS-only to cross-platform React Native, and became Director of Mobile Engineering.

FareHarbor · Part of Booking Holdings

Forward Deployed Engineer at FareHarbor, working on platform systems, internal workflows, and customer outcomes.

The throughline is ownership.

The roles have changed across mobile, marketplaces, crypto infrastructure, and platform systems. The value I bring has not: find the real constraint, take responsibility for the outcome, and leave teams with a system they can keep building on.
